Henry Kauftheil is the Founder and Chairman of the H3 & Co., which invests and operates in many sectors including H3 Food Group, LLC (food), H3 Health Group, LLC (health and wellness), H3 & Company, LLC (advisory and investment), H3 Capital, LLC (technology) and H3 Media, LLC (media). Within the H3 Food Group, Mr. Kauftheil serves as Founder and Chairman of leading kosher supermarket chains in the U.S. (Gourmet Glatt and Evergreen Kosher Market), Israel (SuperFresh) and Canada (Savours Fresh Market). As part of H3 Health Group, Mr. Kauftheil serves as Founder and Chairman of Dialyze Direct, LLC (a next generation healthcare company providing in-house hemo-dialysis services to patients in long term care facilities), Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Care to Care, LLC (a multi-specialty medical benefits management company), Director and Shareholder of Segterra, Inc. (a personalized health analytics company) and Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Selfhealth.me (an integrated, consumer facing health and wellness platform). Mr. Kauftheil is the Chairman of ACG Equities, a real estate investment firm involved in the acquisition of over five million square feet of retail, office and net- leased properties with a value in excess of $1 billion. At ACG he led such notable transactions as the acquisition and repositioning of the US Steel Building - a trophy two million square foot office tower – and many of the earliest luxury developments in North Brooklyn. Mr. Kauftheil previously served as Founder, Chairman and CEO of ICES, an internet ventures and technology holding company, which grew to a valuation of more than $1 billion during his tenure. Mr. Kauftheil has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Business Week and has been interviewed by NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN and Bloomberg. In addition to his various business interests and operations, Mr. Kauftheil serves as Chairman of Mishkan Yechezkel, a non- profit umbrella foundation with more than 20 branches serving community and social needs including youth education and mentoring, as well as various services for the sick and needy.
Yehuda serves as General Counsel for the H3 Group advising on corporate, legal, structure and financing matters. He also serves as corporate counsel to numerous operating companies within the H3 Group structure. Prior to joining the H3 Group, Yehuda was a Partner in the Corporate Group at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP where he practiced for more than 8 years and was selected to Super Lawyers ® 2014 New York Metro Rising Stars list. During his time at Olshan, Yehuda represented numerous public and private companies in securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase and stock purchase transactions and secured and unsecured loan transactions. He also represented real estate companies, borrowers and investors in a various real estate financing transactions at all levels of the capital and debt stack, including single- and multi-tiered mezzanine financings, preferred and common equity and a wide range of complex joint venture arrangements. As part of his practice, Yehuda also advised and counseled public and private companies on a day-to- day basis in corporate governance, securities law and general corporate matters. Yehuda began his legal career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in 1998, where he spent 8 years in the Corporate Finance Group representing both issuers and investment banks in a wide variety of U.S. and international public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, as well as tender offers, exchange offers, going private transactions and structured finance transactions. He also represented private equity firms and private companies in venture capital transactions, including convertible debt and equity financings.
Alan has almost 25 years of accounting and finance experience. He has both a CPA and an MBA and has had a very broad base of experience. He started his career as a staff accountant at Price Waterhouse. After receiving an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, Alan spent three years at Philip Morris where he was a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Over the past 15 years, he has worked on Wall Street in various capacities. Alan has been a research analyst, a partner in two hedge funds and the CEO and CFO of a small broker dealer. Throughout his career, he has focused on smaller companies that are at inflection point and he has used his finance expertise to identify and implement solutions to help companies successfully navigate during critical times of a company’s life cycle.
